Personal background
Technical in nature. I served in the U.S. Navy for 20 years as a technician, operator and manager. I retired as a Chief Petty Officer and currently provide technical and engineering support to the Navy in Port Hueneme, CA. I have always had an interest in computers, science and space.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
In a universe so vast, to think we are alone is almost foolish. Paramount to the belief the world is flat, that the Earth is the center of the universe and man never landed on the moon. We may not know the answer in our lifetime but it certainly bears the attempt.
