Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Working in an astronomy centre and knowing how unique we are in our solar system, I cannot be so egocentric as to believe we are alone in our Milky Way galaxy-- let alone our universe. But if we should never find signs of extraterrestrial life... Let that be a lesson. Maybe we should start appreciating each other and our home. Regardless of what we find out there--or what we do not find-- WE ARE UNIQUE!
