| I am a retired Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, a U S Navy veteran of WW II, married for 54 years, with 4 children and 8 grandchildren. My hobbies include genealogy and computer and my activities include tennis, sailing and traveling. I attended Ohio State University from 1946 to 1953 and 1954 to 1957 and have a BA, DDS and MS degrees. I was at OSU before Woody Hayes. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

There is no doubt in my mind that extraterrestrial life exists in some form. Just what that form will be found to be is quite conjectural. The possible benefits and dangers will depend upon what form that life is found to be. The possibilities are endless.
I believe we should transmit a beacon and it would seem to me the best signal would be "Can you help us?"
I enjoy just being a part of a program that deals with extraterrestrial science. |
