i am a highschool student from Minnesota USA and i run seti@home on several computers ranging in processor speed from a PII 450, to a Celeron 950. im just having fun, and putting my idle processes to good use.
i was a long time user of folding@home via the google toolbar, but recently ive lost intrest in that. with SETI1 coming to a close, i just wanted to see what i could pull off before the end.
i do plan to make the switch to BIONIC, although i havent really read anything about it yet. so im not even sure what it does, or why they are switching. hopefully that will change soon... |
