I am an elementary teacher and I m currently completing a masters degree in Geology. I have always been interested in Astronomy and extra-terrestrial life. I hope that the SETI project will one day provide proof of life elsewhere.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Life is prolific in the universe. It is just that the universe is so huge and we are so relatively young that we have not encountered life elsewhere. I run Seti@home because I am curious about the universe. I hope that someday we will understand it better. I think finding life would help us to understand the bigger picture and help us to realize the solutions to our world problems.
SETI@home and Astropulse are funded by grants from the National Science Foundation, NASA, and donations from SETI@home volunteers. AstroPulse is funded in part by the NSF through grant AST-0307956.
