Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |
1. In a way I think so form of life exists, as on earth the single cell organisms evolved after millions of years in multicellular organisms and further up the line, here we are. So I doubt it that with all this vastness of the universe we are the only form of life with in it.
2. Definitely. The only problem is what to send. Maybe some bits on our history on evolution and our present day technological status. But not so much on culture, as if u were an intelligent life form would you care about culture more or technology?
3. I have been a member for nearly 3 years now, and I was first interested by staring at the stars when I was a young kid, now I read and participate in some radio astronomy as my father introduced it to me. I think that what Seti@home is doing is absolutely incredible and that you should keep going to prove whether we are alone or not (hope we aren’t be a waste of space if it is just us). Keep up with the good work and I hope to expand my computing power to help the momentum of discovery.
