Profile: Jim Reynolds, KF4DPS

Personal background
I live in New Jersey, and I work in the field of sleep medicine, none of which is as boring as it sounds. I've been interested in astronomy and radio for years and I'm an amateur radio enthusiast, so I'm obviously interested in SETI's work. Coincidentally, I worked at UC Berkeley in the early '90s, at Lawrence Berkeley Laboratory.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
My intuition tells me that extraterrestrial life exists, but I wonder if any beings may have evolved in such a similar way to us as to communicate by radio. I hope they did, but I also hope there are much better media possible for communications, not restricted by the light-speed barrier, that we may discover ourselves someday.
