I'm 52, my dad moved to Florida before I was born to work in the space program. I've been reading science fiction since before I was old enough to go to school. I have a Challenger license plate and feel our only true hope for the future of humanity is to get off our planet and be out there in the Universe. Statistically, we can't be the only planet with life that's reached a level of intelligence enough to communicate and cooperate. Why is SETI not more visible in the elementary schools where our future thinkers-out-of-the-box will come from? Paula
