Profile: Aaron Hawkes

Personal background
Hi. My name is Aaron Hawkes. I was born on July 5, 1988 in Vitoria, B.C. I still live in Victoria, but at Willis Point. I am an only child. I like reading a lot. A favorite book of mine is THE BUTTERFLY REVOLUTION. Just recently in a class time capsule project I encapsulated some of my DNA in a test tube with wax. My computer is made by NEC and so is really slow. My average time to decode a single signal is about 62 hours. It's sad. Very sad. But it's still a great computer with the best operating system out there-Windows 98 2nd Edition. AAt school I am known for being really cinicle, concrete sequential, mechanical minded, and shallow. I wish I lived in the States-instead I'm stuck in Canada with Quebec.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Of course there is extra-terrestrial life out there-it's next to impossible that there isn't. We will most likely discover it either from space junkhtey leave behind or an encounter on earth. We may end up anhialating each other because of the pathogens (disease-causers)we would introduce to eachother. We should transmit a beacon but make it friendly, not to informative, and don't expect a reply for a l o n g time. I downloaded Seti@Home because it is a neat idea and screensaver and my computer stays productive. The project had better succeed or my computers toiling is all for nothing!! The size of the screensaver should be adjustable-bits and pieces are always chopped off.
