I am a 35 year old Canadian male who's hobbies include computers and cycling with my children. I have an old P3 450mhz computer in my den that I have recently devoted to the task of running SETI@home 24/7 so my result #'s should start going up.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I feel it would be pretty arrogant to think that in all the vastness of space we are the only intelligent life out there. I'm not sure if SETI@home will be the way we discover alien life but it can't hurt to look right?
