| I live in Carcavelos, near Lisbon, in Portugal and I was born in 1971. I've always been very interested in everything that had anything to do with extraterrestrial life, or the mere possibility of its existence. When I learned of SETI@Home, I was delighted to know that I could at least try to do something to help this research. |

| I think the question is a very simple one: why not? Why should there not be life on other planets? It's pretty obvious to me that life must exist somewhere else. But I'm not so sure if our concept of intelligence is adequate. Who knows? Perhaps we've already brushed shoulders with beings from other planets and we weren't able to recognise them because our five (six?) senses aren't the right ones. |
