| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I found out about the SETI@home project on a TV programme and checked out the website and downloaded the software, I have been running the program for over a year now.
I do believe that extraterrestrial life exists, however I think that if there is to be any interaction with an 'alien' species, the interaction will be initiated by them, probably not in my lifetime; and therefore I believe that we should be sending out a signal into outer space similar to the signals the SETI project is hoping to find. |
