| I am a research scientict working in space physics and studying the near earth environment. Favourite activities are learning about basic science, technology, and placing these two together into functional instruments. I do have fun with a number of other activities too: cycling, playing squash, swimming, and when possible hiking. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

| It would be quite arrogant of us to think that we are alone in the universe. Who knows what another intelligent life form would look like and whether they were/are/will be capable of emitting signals that we can detect. Either way, if we do not look, we never will know whether someone else "is out there". |
