My name is Chris and I live in CT. I plan on a career in video production and my firends and I have done several short films and even a TV series done through our public broadcast station. I enjoy working on computers and work at the Mohegan Sun casino. My hobbies include seti@home(duh), meteorology, and many other random activities.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Seti@home is a great project. I run it because, well, while I would love to spend millions of dollars setting up my own research station I would rather assist SETI in a more cost-effective manner. Besides what else is my CPU going to do in its spare time?
Suggestions...just one thing, I saw that at times the graphics go outside of the graph area on the screensaver. It would also be cool if it listed how many work units were done and what they found, or at least if it is a candidate signal.
