Personal background
I've been all about this universe of ours...  Spiritually.  Physically, though, that's another matter.

I'm always looking to learn something new.  I firmly believe that he who stops wishing to learn and think for himself is dead.

You cannot find enlightenment by waiting for it to come about.  Just because 'somebody else may figure it out first' is no reason not to try yourself.

The greatest gift we can give another is part of our time:  time can never be recaptured, only spent.  Treasure your time with others and spend it in worthwhile ways and your life will be blessed.

You can either view yourself as a free spirit, or as trapped within a physical vessel.  Viewing things from positive and negative never change the truth, though.

What truth do you seek?
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I run Seti to ensure that my clock cycles don't go to waste.

I also wish to contribute to a good cause, and I believe that those who would actively seek out other forms of life would be willing to accept those beings as equals.  Any project which brings people together, promotes being open minded, and promotes the wish to accept that there are beings other than humans which qualify as being intelligent, I find to be very worthwhile.
