| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |
I've started SETI@home because I can't understand why this powerful PCs which are sold now aren't using their power to do something useful. Even an old Pentium 200 has nothing to do when the user is writing a letter or reading mails/news. SETI@home was the first useful thing I found.
Is there life outside the earth? I'm a fan of scifi so I would say: may be. SETI@home is a way to find out. (TJ, 1999)
