I have worked in the IT industry for way too long. I've been many different things in the 10 years too - everything from an IT trainer - to an EARLY internet consultant to a software designer/architect.
And all this with a BA in History!
I have been searching for little green men for quite some time now (since 2000) and have generally be doing it on two machines - my PC (the slow machine) and my Mac - the MUCH faster one :-)
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Well - if I didn't think et life existed - I probably wouldn't be heating up my office by running this on my machines :-)
I don't think we should be attracting undue attention (any more than we already do!) until we get our &%!@ together a bit here on earth first...
I run seti@home to keep my office warm in the winter :-)
