Why do you run SETI@home?
I believe there somebody out there and I want to help proving that.
Thoughts about ETI
There must be live in space. In such big place as universe earth just can't be the only place that has life. We might find them or they might find us. I think there are enough signals coming from earth without sending. If ETs are friendly we might learn something from them and vice versa, but if they are hostile and have better technology human race might have difficulties in surviving.
