Well, i'm about 4 years a setiathome user.
I love everything that has to do with the space around us, I believe that there is some life around us, but where?
I'm 43 years old, and a ICT security consultant.

| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

1. Yes, I believe that there is life around us, the unique mix of ingredients, the planet earth and a sun must be out there, somewere....
2. I don't think that a beacon would help, the space around us is so unbelievable large that this maybe would not help, I guess.
3. Because of point 1 and 2 I run Setiathome, lets help them to find if there is something interesting out there. Maybe I will not find anything in my lifetime but i'm glad I could help a little bit. |
