From Cleveland, Ohio, doing my small part to advance SETI. Also interested in other applications of the same technology of dividing large computing tasks into manageable chunks for individual computers.
I definitely believe that in all the universe there must be other intelligent life, and it's a matter of looking at the right time and place to find it. Hopefully we can continue this effort long enough to get the message.
Not that I'm expecting a major message a la Sagan's Contact, but just "Hello!" would shift out view of the cosmos.
