I'm a Systems Admin for a small company. I enjoy, FPS and RPS games, spending times with my wife and kids, and search the hevans for a great light show.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I do think extraterrestrial life is out there. I'm just not sure when or if they will want to talk to humans if they do discover our signals. I know by helping this project in my small way I could be inviting certain death or worse to our planet but I may also be inviting the most wonderful things we have ever seen. Most of all I think it's just important to find out wether or not we are alone in this universe. It's difficult for me to swallow that no matter what cosmic accident created life on this planet that it was the ONLY planet it ever happened on. I think the most important thing SETI can do is as soon as they have a confirmed signal LET THE PUBLIC KNOW.
