Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. Pretty sure that non-intelligent extraterrestrial life does exist.
It will be discovered in the future by robotic explorers.
Possible danger is to contaminate Earth, and to contaminate the
alien environment.

2. It seems useless because the universe is so large.
Would be nice to put such a beacon into Earth's orbit though.
The info should be photographs of Earth and the life on this
this planet.

3. It is fun that this system can be used for research when I'm not using it.
The project is interesting, although there is little hope that a good
signal will be found. But, better to have searched and failed to find,
than to have not searched at all.
