Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. Life?

I suppose there must be some kind of "life" on some other planet (or whatever).

Dangers for us: new diseases, new virii,...

Dangers for "them": being submitted to all kinds of tests



2. Should we send signals?

Yes, perhaps... some pattern, easy or mathematical, no real message, just something they can see as "intelligent broadcasting"



3. Why Seti?

It's great to be part of such a project, and to beat my ex-collegues with my stats (Northpark group) ;)
