Personal background
Hello, I'm from Saint Peter, Minnesota and am 24 years old. All though I don't know if we actually will be able to find extraterrestrial life searching for technology we had developed (I don't think every race would create the same things we have ... I'm sure every planet is different), I think it is kewl to use this and if we find et somewhere out there, I'm happy I was a part of it. I always have the program running, and I install it on every computer I build!!
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1) Anyone who believes we are the only ones in existance must either be a total ideot or in total denial. Look at the sky sometime with just your naked eye ... notice all the stars?? As we learned in grade school, every star is actually a sun. Now what are the chances that the planets revolving arround those suns are totally lifeless? I just wish we could communicate with them.

2) yes, I think we should, I'm still at debate on the source of the transmiter, it seems to me that they may of developed their equipment differently. If you think about it, the only reason we have the techology we do is because of the fact someone invented it ... now what if what we developed never got developed on another world ... what if both technologies comes as a stealth for both worlds?

3) I love the screensaver ... the main reason I use it.... also neat to maybe be in contact with a lifeform from another world
