Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I believe that extraterrestrial life exists. In what form is another matter. Definitely on the single cellular level, probably multi-cellular. Intelligent life maybe. Theres too much space out there for there not to be anything.

I think that we should transmit a beacon but without any information contained within. If someone extraterrestrial wants to contact us they'll find us (just as we are them).

I run Seti as I believe that this is something that should be researched. I understand why some governments don't want to support this (it has now readily recognisable gains), however I would like to contribute because I think that its worthwhile research. Its not like I'm using the CPU cycles!!!
