Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I've been following SETI and NASA programs for as long as I can remember. I signed up on SETI@Home the day it was made public. I run SETI@home because I think it's a worthwhile project. I'm skeptical about actually finding something, but it is an excellent exercise. I think the experience that the SETI group gains from this project will help refine future generations of the project which may have a much better chance of finding something.
