| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |
Why do I run SETI? There are two factors here - firstly, I believe that such big Universe couldn't have created life (or the life couldn't only been planted by higher being) on only one planet. Secondly, I have the possibility to measure different systems performance :)
About the project? I think that the SETI idea is great - and even though I was against switching platform to BOINC at first, now I fully support it, because it allows people to take part in different projects, possibly making them also aware of SETI :) |
