Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Do you think extraterrestial life exists?

I don't think an inteligent ET exist because then they would have spread out and be seen for a while.

(checkerboard theory)
i think within 1000 years we spread to another star if we survive that long then that colony would spread out after 1000 years and our homeworld too.
Within a 10000 years we would hve spread into nearby stars, and after a couple of millions of years we should have colonised our milky way.
Our type of star is an second generation stars and correct me if i am wrong but don't they exist in the universe for billions of years? so where are they?

But then again i may be wrong on this, and any proof would be welcome to science and me ;)

Should humans transmit a beacon for others to find?

Well i don't know.
We are on top of our food chain i hate to see someone is getting on top of us ;)
But maybe they are friendly and tell is how to solve all our problems, tough one to answer i think i would choice 'yes' but i can see the problem with it.

Why i use Seti@home?

Well to be honest i stopped my participation for a while, then i thought back on an dead friend who loved this project so much, now i am back making my results in the hope i am wrong that ET does excist and as honour to my friend.
