Profile: Yog-Sothoth: The fun-guy from Yuggoth

Personal background
My real name is Richard Tenney; I'm obviously a fan of H. P. Lovecraft.

I've been observing the night sky for many decades now. I currently own 3+ telescopes, the largest a 16" f/6.25 Astrosystems Telekit that I completed in 2000. I co-founded the Utah Valley Astronomy Association, and have also been a member of the Salt Lake Astronomical Society, and in my younger days, the San Diego Astronomy Association.

I'm currently working on the Herschel 400, having observed over 300 of these fine deep-sky objects. I've also observed all of the Messier objects (some of them many, many times).
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I love the night sky, and have a hope that someday we make contact with other life forms out there, however slim the chance.
