Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I think ET life exists, in fact I think they exists here on earth, using advanced tecnology for hiding from earthlings.
If we ever get contact with aliens I think they would be friendly and they could theach us how to use their tecnology so that we could travel to other solar systems.

I think humans should transmitt a beacon, but what should it contain? We don't know that aliens can understand anything we transmitt.
What frequency shall we transmitt in? KHz, MHz, GHz or what? It's logical to think maybe KHz since that is travelling longer, but we don't know if any aliens even use KHz, or even GHz. They may be using something more advanced.
That may be a problem if we ever get in contact with aliens.

I'm running SETI@home 'cause I'd like to be a part of a project that perhaps one day will be the first to discover life on other planets / solar systems.
