| I'm a 20 year old guy from Belgium. I study information-management and support. One of my hobby's is gaming, but most of my time that I spend on a computer goes to creating websites and programming. (C, VB) Other then gaming and programming, I spend most of my time with my girlfriend. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |
It would be highly unlikely that extraterestial life doesn't exist. The universe is just too big. If we discover extraterrestial life, it would be because of a project like SETI. I think you can compare the danger of finding extraterrestial life with going outside your house. If you go out, and start talking to someone, there is a chance that he of she is not friendly.
The reason I run SETI@home isn't because of finding extraterestial life, but its a competition between me and my friends to process the most data units. |
