Personal background
Greetings to all SETI users out there ;)

I am a 33 years old woman from Montreal, Canada. Currently struggling to get funds to pursue my endeavours in Nuclear Medecine, although rightnow, evolving in the field of Logistics.

There's way too much for me to tell, since I am such a bad judge for myself. But I am definitely a sci-fi geek, conspiracy freak, scientifically minded, passionate with a *P* about astronomy and music.

It's really a sheer joy to participate in this research program, in my own little puny contribution but if that helps, by all means, i'll be more than happy !

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Question #1--->>> Yes! Definitely. I believe E.T. life forms are out there... WH0 can deny the statistics of the Drake Equasion ?
When and How will we make first contact? I have no clue, but one thing's for sure... As long as Humanity still dwells in it's perpetual teenager crisis upon money and greed, we will NOT expand in space... Life itself will turn against us... Even in the midst of chaos, there is an order in all things. We haven't abided to specific rules of order... Dreaming of space conquests and ET life forms...yet, we barely respect the life forms we have right here down on earth.... How could we possibly drag our stupidity in space as such? Maybe that's partially the reason why most Mars mission failed ???

Question #2------>>> I don't think, to this point in history and time, we are prepared to make first contact, therefor, sending a beacon out in deep field of space to signal any potential E.T. travellers that we're out there.... would be stupid. How could we possibly know thier intentions? Would we be able to *deal* with them.... Technology wise, would we be *up to par* ??? A question that sends doubts in my mind...

Question #3---->>> My views upon SETI is one of pure curiosity since it has yielded very few results ( next to none I might add ) but the theories upon which this research is based is quite interesting...And since most of our leader's ,reasearch funding NEVER goes to such projects, I feel, as a sky observer, that we ought it to those who believed in it, to give it a bit of our energy, so that it may have a chance at proving something... That we weren't crazy after all ;))
