Profile: Terry Kesteloot

Personal background
I live in Ottawa, Ontario Canada our nation’s capital and I'm 41 years old.

I work as a CADD/CAFM Manager (Computer Aided Design Drafting/Computer Aided Facilities Management) for a medium sized high tech project and design management firm. My expertise is AutoCAD, MicroStation, Facilities Center, CAD Management, Systems and Standards.

My hobbies include, computers, software, reading, movies and just plain mucking about with games.

I used to read about the kinds of things I'm doing these days in Science Fiction Novels little did I know that I would actually be living it one day. It's turned out to be one heck of a hoot and I'm enjoying every minute of it. Now if we could just get a working warp drive engine then I'd really be in heaven. :-))))
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I've been running the Seti program on several incarnations of my home and work machines now for more then 5 years. I figured that if the darn things are on 24h/365d then they might as well be doing something useful when I'm not around.

This is a good project. I've followed Seti in the news since as long as I can remember and I've always been fascinated with what Seti was trying to do. Keep it up and good luck. If we are alone then dam the warp engine there wouldn’t really be any point but some how I don't think the universe works that way. After all we're here are we not?
