| I'm student of Poznan University of Technology with major computer science. I live in Poznan, Wielkopolska, European Union :D It's approx 300 km from Berlin for east. Maybe later I would write sth more, no ideas for the moment. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |
Why SETI? I don't know. I've always been interested in space and this stuff. I'd read in some magazine about this project and I joined. It was some time ago and I just can't stop. I need to see those charts on my screensaver. Without them it looks that something is missing.
Maybe straight to suggestions - use less memory in program. I remember that the Classic version used about 15 - 16 MB of memory and now the BOINC version uses about 50-60 MB. This giant difference was the reason for which I switched for BOINC version after the Classic was closed. |
