I am a 56 yr. old translator, computer freak, business man. I have a small network in my home office with 1 1.4 GHz AMD/Epox PC, 1 Pentium Pro 200 Mhz PC and 1 Pentium III 800 MHz PC, and I run Seti at all three.
After beeing an avid S&F fan since I was 14, this is interesting.

1. It would be very illogcal if i did not. But the chance to make any contact is statistically microscopic considered the infinity of time, the universe and everything (yes, I love the Hitchiker series).
2. Yes, in my opinion. It seems to me that everybody believes that en alien encounter will be positive, but it could be extremely dangerout. Still, I don't think we should avoid something that sooner or later is going to happen.
3. I run Seti to help out, and because it is fun. |
