Personal background
Hi all,

I'm 28 from Australia working in Saudi Arabia for their Airforce.

I used to be in the RAAF (Aussie Air Force) but the lure of more money and travel got to me.

I'm married with two great kids, 1 and 2, but right now they are in Aus, maybe for a bit longer due to the current climate (WTC).

I would like to extend my sorrow and grief for the people of the US for this terrible cowardly act. Please know that you have allies where you really wouldn't expect it.

I build computers for friends as a hobby, so I use Seti@home as a sort of benchmarking program too. Mostly I have 2 computers netwoked for this, I was using SETI DRIVER but found it was too unstable in the Windows XP.

The photo is of both my kids and I in front of the Parkes Radio Telescope in Australia. This Radio Telescope was made famous in the Aussie movie 'The Dish'.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I definately believe that ET exists, why would I be doing this.

I think we should transmit a beacon, but then again we do have to be a bit careful as well, we really don't know who and/or what is out there and what their intentions would be. It's like inviting a stranger to your own homw.

I run Seti because even though I'm just one person I really do believe that I can make a difference, no matter how small it is.

Thankyou.
