Bleh, I'm English, chillin mostly, gradually upgrading my pc, and getting my seti task times lower at the same time :)
Quick tip: use the command line version for windows (setiathome-3.08.i386-winnt-cmdline.exe) its alot faster.I use it with SETI Driver and have it linked to startup in windows, so it starts automatically when the pc boots up.
Now I'm down to 2-3hrs per wu, yay ! |

I think extraterrestrial life certainly exists, but I am not sure if we will find it. I think that they are probably more advanced than we are and know where we are, and will contact us when they want to, I dont believe this is in our hands.
I think that it would b of great benefit to mankind if we did contact other civilisations, and want to do my bit to help, by running seti@home, tho i think the chances of finding anything are very slim, but hey, you gotta try. |
