Personal background
I'm a 20 year old sophomore Electrical Engineering major at Baylor University in Waco, TX. I work in a computer lab, so I get plenty of time logged on this thing. I enjoy cycling, playing soccer and tennis, and listening to music. Typical college student I guess. ;) I'd love to visit the ARO someday.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I think the odds are pretty good that there's ET life somewhere out there. Whether or not we're looking for the right thing in the right places even if we know what we're looking at is debateable, but I think it's only a matter of time before some definitive evidence turns up. If aliens are looking at us right now they're probably laughing their asses off. Some people are pretty arrogant, ignorant, and closed minded if they think that we're the only life in this universe.
