Personal background
I’m Andrea Fusi and I’m from Inzago, a little country near Milan. I’m 23 years old and I’m studying Aeronautical engineering. I like studying planes and spacecrafts and I want to learn to fly, because I love the flight, its sense of freedom and I also hope to reach the Space! I like playing sports too and I particular like playing fitness in a fitness centre because I believe that “Mens sana in corpore sano” ( but there is another seti’s user, ‘blackmagic41’, who play fitness but is not completely “finito”!).
I’m also a member of the best Seti Users Group, ‘I Captonauti’, I hope that this group become the best one for everybody!
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I believe that extraterrestrial life must exist because there is a large number of stars, planets, galaxies that can be site of life! But I also believe that these sites are too far to be reached thanks to actual technologies, but I hope in future it will be possible.
Humans have to transmit more beacon with information about our position and intentions but I believe that modern beacons aren’t strong enough to cover that very big distances between earth and other galaxies.
I have decided to run SETI@home because I hope that other civilizations exist and that they are more well-developed than us thus they can send more powerful beacon that we can capture!
It will be wonderful to know that we are not alone in the universe!
