I went to Bournemouth University UK I studied a combined IT/ business studies degree found that I hated C and myself and became an Archaeologist…such is life.
I believe in intelligence and life, I believe it is far more numerous than we can ever imagine but little green men in flying saucers saying take me to your leader is fantasy. I am a archaeologist so I dream of the past as much as I do the future the past is written we only have to find the words and put them together but the future is completely unwritten.
Thinking about others far away looking up to the stars pointing to my star and saying “WHO ARE YOU?â€â€¦. Inspires me.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Our location should not be transmitted only an area or frequency that we will always scan for replies, safety must be paramount. We live in a society based on monotheist believes in the rights of men compassion love justice our neighbours may be from a society lacking these believes. The Romans were culturally & technically very advanced but imagine a modern space travelling race based on their values. Or how about the advanced industrial powers of Europe in the 18th and 19th centuries’ colonization of the third world. They believed themselves morally and intellectually superior to their neighbours would we want visitors to our world like these people?
