Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I think SETI is a cool project and with SETI@home we'll have a decent chance at getting in a radio signal from outer space.

1. I think Extraterrestrial life exists somewhere in the galaxy, i also think we'll discover them in around a decade...
The possible benefits (that i can see) are:
-New technology (if they come here)
-A more united planet
-More activity in the space stuff (like NASA).
The Possible dangers are:
-The aliens are hostile
-There might be panic, when they do appear to be hostile

2. I think we should transmit a beacon for others to find, with a bit of information on the whole of the human race (culture, history, languages, nations, etc..).

3. I run SETI@home because i wanna help find an alien transmission, i think the project is well run and well known, my suggestion is:
-Get out some advertisements on webpages or something.
