Profile: Terran Confederation SETI Team

Personal background
Global seems to the the best definition when describing me. Born in Zagreb, Croatia, I've lived there till the age of 15, when I moved to Malta. Coming from an aviator's family, I travelled since the earliest childhood. I had visited all of Europe (Italy, Germany, Sweden, Spain, Turkey...), North Africa (Egypt, Tunisia..), parts of the Middle East (United Arab Emirates), and North America (New York) by the age of 18. Malta itself is a melting pot of cultures and lifestyles, and the international school I attended sported more than 40 nationalities. All of this hardwired me in a way that is somewhat different than most people. I speak four languages fluently, can understand several others, and - most of all - feel comfortable anywhere in the world. I had witnessed life around the planet and loved every moment of it.
I fly for a living, and write for pleasure. And I know that there is more than our little rock-full of life in the universe. So I do my part to look. And, hopefully, get an interesting idea for my next story. "It's out turn to fly" so let's do it!

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
At every point in time, there is a 'project' that best summs up the advancement of a civilization: the pyramids, the Roman road network, Magellan's voyage. SETI is our expression - we've come far enough to look out over the fence, and to find new playmates. About time.
There is life out there, and we'll find it.
