I live and work on the Wirral, the little sticky-out bit just below Liverpool, I'm the Assistant IT Manager for a firm of loss adjusters based there. My age is officially "thirty something".
My interests include motorsports, reading (SF mostly), and eating (and unfortunately, therefore, gaining weight!).
I'm really into the idea of distributed processing, I think it could really open up a lot of other projects. Who knows what else could be achieved with so much processing power...?

I first heard about Seti@Home from a friend and I thought that it was a fantastic idea. I could actually help with a genuine scientific project!
Do I believe that other life exists? I do. There's just too much out there for it all to be just lifeless lumps of rock and gas.
Will we find anything? I don't know. I'd be surprised if we did. |
