| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

| I run SETI@home for two reasons: First, I am terribly intrigued by the thought of extraterrestrial life and would really like to be involved, even in the smallest capacity in looking for (and hopefully finding) it. Secondly, I am impressed by distributed processing technologies and get a kick out of being part of this massive network of computers all burning away towards the same goal. |
