Hello all...I work full time for the local Housing Authority in my area.
I am 39 and no longer counting. I have too many hobbies. I enjoy Model railroading and flower gardening.
I am a fisherman and spend as much time as I can on my boat. I occationally fish local Bass Tournaments. I have even won some money doing it. I also like bird watching, baseball (Go O'S) and stargazing; just to mention a few other interests.
I am single but have a Fiance. We have several pets, 2 cats (both all Black) Sissy and Sassy, 4 fish aquariums,(3 are saltwater), fish pond and a rabbit name "moo".
I am a Republican. I am am very tired of all the money government takes off my paychecks. I fly the American FLAG with Pride and thank all Vets for my freedom.
I say the Pledge including "UNDER GOD", sing the National anthem.
I also enjoy Sci-Fi movies and shows. I am an avid fan of stargate Atlantis.
"24" on Fox is a great show.

I have been asked many times over the years if I believe in Aliens?
The short answer is YES.
There is much more to the answer though. I do not believe they are little green men who want to take over the world. Why couldn't they look very similar to us?
I also believe one day contact will be made, by a far superior being. Who most likely wound not be wanting to take over earth. If they would have the means to come here, they would have little use for our plant, or to destroy us.
I am sure they would have a far more understanding of life and the importance of it for everyone's survival in the universe.
I run seti on my PC, because it is far more usful than a screen saver that "really" doesn't serve any purpose. Also I believe with every unit finished,it brings us one tiny step closer to making contact.
I plan to one day in some way become more involved in the search for Life beyond out planet.
As fast as technology is moving these days some sort of contact should being coming very soon. I hope in my lifetime, we make contact. Even if it is just a simple radio signal or we get visitors.
To all non-believer's walk out in your back yard, on a clear night, look up at all the millions of stars, and tell me there is no possibility of other life out there! |
