Personal background
Hi I'm Lynn from Australia, I'm 47 years old. I've been a web developer/web master for around 7 years. I've been into computers since the early 80s. I've been a classic seti@home user for around 3 years or so. I moved to boinc last year and, after upgrading my computer once again, I connected to other boinc projects.
The other thing I enjoy doing is reading, science fiction of course. I'm fastinated with space, and what could be out there. One of the things I love to do is go outside at night and look up at the stars, I always wonder whether there is someone on another planet looking up at the same time wondering if there is life out there too.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I think extraterrestrial life exists on other worlds. I dont think the universe is empty. If life is on one planet in a solar system, then life will exists elsewhere, and that life may or may not be like life of this world. Sometimes I wish we could meet people from other worlds tomorrow, but only if they are friendly of course.

Actually I wouldnt be surprised if someone already knows we exists. They may be out there watching us to see what we do next. To them we may seem to be only a young civilisation, and we probably have a lot of growing up to do.

I run Seti@home to help out, maybe something will come of all this. You never know!
