About me? Ok. I am 30 years old. That means I was 7 when Star Wars came out. What can I say. I have been a Sci-fi fan ever since. I have strayed from Sci-fi into Science fact. I am an amateur Physicist. Ok, that means I read a lot and am a geek only to myself. I am also part Cherokee and Menominee and I follow the lost spirituality of Shamanism. So somewhere between hard fact and the soft spirit of dreams, I am waiting. Waiting for the discovery that science and spirit ARE one and the same not bitter enemies. Maybe Seti can help.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. Yes. One world? Alone in the universe? Billions of Suns with Billions and billions of planets? How can anyone say we are alone.
2. Sure! Why not. Its not going to do any harm. I think the information sent should be Mathematical. Im sure if the can understand THEY are not alone maybe we can answer the same thing we are asking.
3. I run Seti because it cant do any harm. I WANT to know. If the 2.66Ghz i have can help in anyway... Why not try. Im am happy to have the option of trying. You will never succeed if you don't try.
