Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. Yes but i doubt we will discover anything if we continue to search with just satilletes from Earth we need to send more probes into deep space and then analize that data.
2. If you have ever watched Star Trek you can see what can happen if we send a beacon and then another species picks it up, it could contaminate their culture. I would rather see us flying in space ships then sending beacons, but the idea of beacons is always cool
3. I knew about this project in the late 90's when they first started. I always loved the idea of if their is something important in the data you looked at it could change they way the human race looks at things forever
