Personal background |
I live in Perth, Scotland and have been interested in Astronomy ever since I saw video of Neil Armstrong landing on the moon. I was born too late to witness this remarkable event first hand, but it has encouraged me to pursue an interest that hopefully one day will allow me to journey into space as well.

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |
In all the vastness of space, in the million no billions of galaxies that exist there must be other intelligent life. Therefore, it is essential that we explore all methods of communication to search for this life. The SETI@home project enables (potentially) every member of the human race to take part in that search and contribute however small to one day finding extraterestial intelligent life.
I hope one day to be able to witness the first contact we, the human race, make with Extra Terestial being but unless the whole world gets involved and until serious government money get put in place then I think it may be sometime, and unlikely in my lifetime that contact will be made.
I hope to be proved wrong. |
