| I live near Gawler, South Australia and enjoy bush walking, camping and almost anything outdoors! I am a volunteer firefighter (operations support) with the South Australian Country Fire Service and in my spare time I work with computers for a living. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |
I run SETI@home because I'd like to know whether there is life on other planets. I believe that somewhere out there a planet must exist with the right conditions to support life. Whether it is intelligent or not, who knows?
I think the chances of finding a signal are very low but if we don't look we'll never find one. |
